Dec 30, 2018 Before Anthem, which was a massive disappointment, BioWare developed a game series that struck hard in the hearts of those who played it. Of course, we are referring to the Mass Effect trilogy and of course, we are leaving out Mass Effect: Andromeda for obvious reasons. Our story begins in the year 2183 and we assume the role of Commander Shepard. All life of the Milky Way galaxy is. 'Night Call is a narrative driven noir inspired mystery game developed by Monkey Moon/BlackMuffin Studios and published by Raw Fury. The player takes on the role of a Parisian taxi driver trying to place their life back in to some sort of normality after having spent time in a coma due a brutal encounter with a murderer who is on the loose. Plus most narrative driven games are simply showing off movies are better because their narratives unfold in the exact same method. I loved crysis 2 btw, it required skil but even though strategy. But in the narrative games like The Walking Dead, Until Dawn and Life Is Strange, gameplay is based on the player’s decisions. What the player decides is what dictates how the story will turn out. May 12, 2003 Combining open-world gameplay with a character driven narrative, you arrive in a town brimming with delights and degradation and given the opportunity to take it over as you choose. Having just made it back onto the streets of Liberty City after a long stretch in maximum security, Tommy Vercetti is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli.
Basics
To The Moon is a story-driven adventure game published by Freebird Games in 2011. Though this game was created using RPG Maker, the gameplay is primarily in the format of puzzle mechanics. Originally developed for PC, this game is now available on Windows, OS X, Linux, Nintendo Switch, and mobile.
Background
The premise of this story relies on a technology invented by a company that allows its employees to traverse through a dying person’s memories and alter them so that the person can pass believing that they have achieved their lifelong dreams. The player characters are two employees who are hired to help a dying man named Johnny Wales. Johnny wants to go to the moon, though he cannot remember why he has this wish. The player must traverse backward through Johnny’s memories and strategically alter them in order to fulfill his request.
Deeper Look
At first glance, To the Moon’s pixel style graphics and convoluted plot description may turn many people off the game. However, it managed to develop a cult following at the time of its release and it is still one of my personal favorites. My love for the game has little to do with its mechanics, graphics, or even replay value. The reason why players became so enamored with this game is almost entirely due to its plot. Without going into too much detail, this game poses compelling philosophical questions about the nature of memory and the way that our experiences shape our identities. The premise itself gives a hint to the types of themes this game seeks to explore: would you sacrifice your lived experiences and failures for the satisfaction of achieving your one most coveted goal or wish? This game is a good example of how a studio does not need a large budget to create a poignant piece of work. The developers of To the Moon used a unique soundtrack and a compelling narrative to elicit emotional responses from their audience, and they were successful. Graphics and mechanics somehow became the least important part of this project. To the Moon demonstrates how many indie game developers are furthering video games as a form of interactive storytelling.
If you’re thinking about diving into The Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor expansion, you may want to know a few tips and tricks before you get started. In our Greymoor beginner’s guide, we will go over some of the new features that have been added to the game, as well as some general tips for getting started in the world of The Elder Scrolls Online.
The Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor Beginner’s Guide
The Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor expansion takes place in Western Skyrim. The expansion will also feature a new questline, areas to explore, public dungeons, trials, and more. If you’re new to the game or have been away for a while, here’s a beginner's guide to Greymoor.
What are Antiquities?
The new Antiquities system in The Elder Scrolls Online Greymoor can be a bit confusing at first, but it’s really not that complicated once you’ve been given a proper explanation. Essentially, Antiquities allow players to discover hidden treasures by scrying and excavating the locations that you uncover by following leads.

We’ve got a very detailed guide on Antiquities already, but we’ll give you a quick rundown here. For starters, you can unlock the Antiquities system by visiting a woman named Verita Numida in the city of Solitude. She will give you an item called the Antiquarian’s Eye and will have you complete two quests that will show you how to use it.

From there, as you explore the world of Western Skyrim, you’ll uncover a variety of leads, which you can see in your Journal. When you find a lead, you can scry it (we’ll talk about this next) to uncover the location that you’ll need to excavate to find the hidden treasure. The more you do this, the rarer leads you’ll get, which will lead to better treasure.

As we mentioned above, scrying is part of the new Antiquities system that was introduced with the Greymoor expansion. Once you’ve found a lead, you’ll need to complete a scrying mini-game of sorts that will reveal the location of the lead. If you’re not sure how to unlock the scry skill, we’ve got you covered.
The scry mini-game will essentially require players to play a game of connect the dots. The more dots you connect, the fewer locations you’ll have to excavate to find the hidden treasure. For example, if you connect all six dots, you’ll only be shown one location, which will lead you straight to the treasure. However, let’s say you only connect four dots, you may have 2-3 different locations that appear on your map, but only one will contain the hidden treasure.
